Blood Lead Screenings

October 24 – 30, 2021 is Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. About 3.3 million American families have children under 6 years of age at risk of exposure to lead. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority uses an automated newborn enrollment system (eNB1) to electronically register eligible newborns in health coverage. Through this process, infants are able to receive health coverage in the first few days of their lives.
