Blood Lead Screenings

October 24 – 30, 2021 is Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. About 3.3 million American families have children under 6 years of age at risk of exposure to lead. Connecting Students to Coverage This Back-to-School Season

The Back-to-School season is a key time to engage with parents about getting their eligible children enrolled in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Children who have health insurance miss fewer classes and perform better in school than those who are uninsured. This webinar explores ways organizations can work with schools and other education-focused groups to reach eligible families and enroll children in Medicaid and CHIP.
